Reduce emissions

The use of TRUCONNECT data allows you to monitor and predict your overall fuel consumption and what volume of carbon emissions your lift trucks produce.

Use this information to choose special fuel-saving features, optimize the deployment of your lift trucks and reduce your site emissions for a more sustainable operation.

For your drivers:

The auto-start-stop feature turns off the engine whenever the lift truck idles for a prolonged period of time and restarts it automatically when needed. The working principle is simple: when the engine doesn’t run, it doesn’t consume fuel.

On your trucks:

All of the latest Konecranes lift trucks can run on HVO100 fossil-free fuel, a 100% renewable chemical copy of regular diesel made mostly of vegetable oils. It’s a fast, economical way to transition from fossil fuels.

The Hydraulic Long Life (HLL) filter employs exceptionally fine filtration to extend the hydraulic oil change interval from the standard 4,000 hours up to a possible 12,000 hours. In practice, you get cleaner hydraulics with more uptime while saving money and reducing waste with up to 80% less hydraulic oil.

Konecranes Ecolifting future-proofs your lift truck fleet with special fuel-saving options. Power Drive uses a reconfigured hydraulic system and pump for up to 15% less fuel consumption. Flow Drive’s hydromechanical variable transmission reduces fuel consumption by up to 25%. Electric lift trucks eliminate fossil fuel consumption entirely and produce no emissions.

At your operations centre:

Eco-Mode allows you to optimize your lift truck operations remotely through TRUCONNECT. In less busy periods, adjust the settings on your trucks to reduce fuel consumption and save even more fuel.

Security by design

Secure software development practices ensure security risks are considered in each phase of the software development lifecycle.

This helps developers to build highly secure applications and ensure that security risks and possible vulnerabilities are captured in the development, and not in the production.
